Nike Pool Case Study

Nike Pool

Nike took over Dagenham's 1970's swimming pool which was to be demolished. They installed an incredible BMX park, where they held a pro competition. They then opened the park to London’s BMX riders for a month.

Say Fromage provided a photo booth for all riders to take their pictures and take home a souvenir. Prints were stuck up around the park and riders could also upload their pictures straight to their Facebook wall, showing their friends where they were. Our booths also allowed people to 'LIKE' the Nike BMX Facebook fan page.

In 1 month the photo booth had a total of 3500 visits and made 5100 prints.

Fashion Targets Breast Cancer

We were worked with Fashion Targets Breast Cancer to help launch their summer campaign.

With a small tour of 3 locations including Lucy In Disguise, the My Wardrobe.com office and a Warehouse store near Oxford Street we took a customised booth with us to allow people from the stores and office to take their pictures and share it on facebook.

The booth was hugely popular in all 3 locations. People didn't stop taking pictures for the whole of each day.

All the pictures were then uploaded to the FTBC facebook page to allow people to tagg themselves, and download the pictures.

UKTV Summer Boat Party

We can now supply a hard background as an alternative to having a curtain on our photo booths. It creates a different user experience, as there is not as much privacy as when you have the curtain, but that can be perfect for events where everyone knows each other. The theme here was a boat party, so a seaside picture was used. We can print any image that we are supplied with to use as a back ground.

Lisa supplied us with some vintage fabric which we used for the background of their pictures. It looks great in the pictures and really personalised the booth for them.

Case Study: - Sony World Photography Awards Hyde Park Royal Wedding

Say Fromage were asked by The Sony World Photography Awards to help provide a memento and experience for the visitors to Hyde Park's celebrations of the Royal Wedding on the 29th April 2011. So we provided 4 photo booths each customised to Sony's specifications. People could take their pictures with royal themed dressing up props and take a print home. They could also upload a picture to their facebook wall to let everyone know where they were on the day of the Royal Wedding.

We also provided our friendly hosts with each booth and the tents to keep everyone dry in case of rain! With thousands of people in Hyde Park, we managed to get about 2500 people through the booths in roughly 6 hours. With about 60% posting their pictures directly onto facebook.

Max's Bar Mitzvah

I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful service you provided at my son Max's bar mitzvah last Saturday night. The photobooth worked out even better than I expected it to - what a great piece of technology you have there! The photos are terrific and everyone really enjoyed it. Oliver and Misli (I hope I got the names right!) were so pleasant and did a wonderful job of setting up and manning the booth. Lastly, my son is thrilled to have the album as a way to help commemorate the event!

'I AM Photo Booth' At Snapped by All Walks Beyond The Cat Walk

The I AM photo booth went down a storm on Friday night's 'Snapped' event at The National Portrait Gallery. The event organised by All Walks Beyond The Catwalk was packed, with around 3000 visitors apparently. The que for the photo booth didn't stop all night. The fashionista set used an 'I AM ' board to write a statement about their identity on, with some interesting results.

The pictures taken were projected through out the night on the walls of the gallery, so all users could say their portrait had been shown in the National Portrait Gallery!!! See our web gallery for the results of the night.

All Walks Beyond the Catwalk celebrate all shapes and sizes at the National Portrait Gallery with Rankin.

Nine new fashion portraits by Rankin (commissioned by All Walks) will be displayed for the first time – and for one-night only – during an evening of special events currated by All Walks Beyond the Catwalk at the National Portrait Gallery on Friday February 11th 2011, from 6-10pm.

Erin O’Connor, Debra Bourne and Caryn Franklin co–founders of award-winning All Walks Beyond the Catwalk collaborated with nine major fashion designers, including Stella McCartney, Giles Deacon, Hussein Chalayan and Vivienne Westwood to create images that showcase spring-summer ’11, a wider range of models aged 18 to 80, in varying sizes and skin tones.

“This is a chance for visitors to hear and experience different voice from the heart of the fashion industry and like the multitude of silhouettes and garments our industry both designs and promotes, we believe beauty is also individual. It’s not restricted by race, shape, age or size.” Co-founders Debra Bourne, Caryn Franklin and Erin O’Connor

All Walks, approached the gallery in August 2010 with the idea of exploring the question “Has Fashion become the lens by which we evaluate identity today? “ In addition to the Rankin trail - A whole series of bespoke activities have been created for the Lateshift Extra, from Masterclasses by London College of Fashion in life drawing and fashion illustration, a casting for live portrait shoot where lucky visitors may be picked to contribute and ‘behind the scenes/ fashion soundscapes, with a special contribution from the Girl Guides on the influence of celebrity. There is also interactive artworks by ‘artist in residence’ Josephine Chime and an all female DJ line up will include Loren Platt (of Work It girl fame)

The hot ticket will be a high powered debate by industry experts Lorraine Candy - Editor Elle, Lynne Featherstone - Govt Minister for Equalities, Linda Papadopoulos - prominent psychologist and Erin O’Connor, who put image making in fashion, media and advertising under the spotlight.

The Rankin images will form a photographic trail throughout the National Portrait gallery, sitting alongside their permanent collection, with a commentary by All Walks. “We start with a fantastic portrait of Elizabeth I accompanied by the first soundtrack of the night from Vivienne Westwood on the magic of Power Dressing and end by Warhol’s iconic image of our current monarch Queen Elizabeth II.

Aylesbury Youth Action

This October, the Say fromage Photo Booth traveled up to Aylesbury to support the Aylesbury Youth Action team.

AYA hired one of our booths over three days in the town's shopping centre to capture pictures of young people form Aylesbury. The booth was very popular with over 100 people using the booth a day.

The pictures are then going to be made into some photo montages of important people from history to connect the youth of Aylesbury to the history of the town they live in. These will be shown at the new Waterside Theatre.

We look forward to seeing the final images and will post it up once we have it.

Rethink: Time to Change

Say fromage says: It is Time to Change!

We were helping ‘rethink’ in their mission to give a voice to people affected by mental illness.

We took our customised photo booths to Islington, London and Birmingham for the World Mental Health Day and to Hyde Park London for the Royal Park Half Marathon.

Runners in Hyde Park and shoppers in Islington and Birmingham used our photo booths to take pictures of themselves holding their pledge they had just written. These were then displayed at each location to show all the pledges made that day.

Our compact photo booth fitted perfectly in their small Bond street store. The fashionistas queued all night to practice their pouts in the photo booth ! It must have been one of the most popular things on the street that night.

Back in August Say Fromage helped Sure Mobile publicise their new Indie price plan for Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of man.

We took one of our booths that had been cutomised with some graphics, and a Logo'd curtain to a great beach side location in Guernsey & Jersey and an Ice rink in the Isle of Man. Sure ran a photo competition, where the best picture could win a plasma TV. A lot of different people used the booth young and old, but all loved taking their pictures and getting a free souvenir to remind them of their trip to the beach.

Snack a Jack She Time Lounge

Back in June Say Fromage helped Initials Marketing create The She-Time Lounge for Snack a Jacks at this year’s London Clothes Show. The She-Time Lounge was the perfect place for Ladies to enjoy some quality time with their friends; chill out and relax, pose for fun pictures in the She-Time Photo Booth and of course sample delicious Snack a Jacks.'

Incorporating one of our photo booths with a custom curtain, users of The She-Time Lounge could take pictures with their friends and take a copy home for free. The pictures were then displayed on a slide show on the other side of the booth where people could enter the promotion to win a styling session with fashion guru Gok Wan, plus lots of the other gorgeous rewards.

A lot of fun had creating a great guest book at Sam & Paula's Wedding

In the beautiful grounds of New College Oxford (01865 289096), with the sun setting over the historic buildings. Guests of the wedding help create an amazing guest book, for Sam & Paula to keep as a reminder of all the friends and family who where there that day. Using the dressing up box for inspiration guests filled the book was with prints from one of our photo booths and touching personal messages.
The guests were all given a print or more to take home as a reminder as well. A projected slide show of all the pictures also added a bit of entertainment for everyone.

We Have A New Touch Screen Photo Booth

We are pleased to launch our new Touch Screen Photo Booth! Now even better to hire for any party, wedding or corporate event.

Shown in the video below the new touch screen allows users to preview and browse the pictures they just took of themselves before they print them. Not only this, they can also choose to create a print of four pictures or one favourite one. The four pictures don't just have to be their's. They can pick and mix from all the pictures taken at the event....AND if they want to, email it too themselves immediately!

The touch screen also goes into a slide show if not used for a minute to attract people to use it. The touch screen has proved a great success so far, and makes the whole experience of using a photo booth a lot of fun.

Proud Gallery Camden's 2nd Birthday Party

Our good friends at the Proud Gallery Camden had their 2nd birthday party on Wednesday night. We supplied them with our new touch screen photo booth with prints, to supply all the guest with a little memento to take home.

We also projected the pictures in a slide show behind the stage where the band where playing. A lot of great pictures.
